Grants to support business 

The Government has announced an expansion of the Business Support fund. 

Renewed restrictions throughout Victoria means businesses may be eligible for a $5,000 grant where they have to operate in a limited capacity or can no longer operate.

One-off grants will be made available to qualifying businesses.

• $10,000 for employing businesses in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire in recognition of spending longer under restrictions
• $5,000 for employing businesses in regional local government areas (except Mitchell Shire)

• If you put in an application in the first round of grant funding which closed on 1^st June 2020 then you will still need to put in an application for this second round of grant funding.

• You won’t be required to reapply if you were a Melbourne based business that had already applied for the second round of grants which opened at the end of July 2020.
